Found this great forum for people interested in growing bananas. This fruit(really a berry) can be grown in zones you would not normally think of. I have some growing on my property here in Florida and they are a great source of food & nutrition. :banana:

There's a nursery in Crawfordville, www.justfruitsandexotics.com , that has several varieties of cold-hardy bananas.
